mattchuw
Burned huphuck 1.4i fine. Booted off, stayed on the apple with the spining ring under it for a while. But after 5 minutes or so of that, it goes to a blue screen. Left it there for at least 15 minutes one time, and nothing happened. I did -v option and everything seemed to be confirmed. Anyone have any tips for me? mattchuw
I even tryed re-burning the iso. Realized that when i do the -v option, it is unable to mount my harddrives (/dev/disk0s2)... Could this be the reason. C'mon, I know somebody out there must have an answer. I dont have enough money to buy a mac, and I can barely function off one. Please, help. I have read all the manuals, looked through mass amounts of forum threads. Burned at 2x. Should I try to obtain a new uphuck osx86 file? Anything. Could it just be my moniter that is not displaying the install window? mattchuw
I solved my problem! After hours and hours spent going through forums and tutorials, tried this: Unplug power source, plug in a moniter, and boot in single user mode (-s) then when it asks you what to do, say to continue to boot in single user mode. Thank for all of you who helped me. O, wait. Thankyou me. ousi
Well, I got a similar config laptop (Fujitsu S7021). Same problem if I CONNECT the power cord even with external monitor. After UNPLUGging the power cord when booting the DVD (1.4i R3), it booted!!! in short: 1. UNPLUG power cord 2. Use paper-clip trick or Connect an external monitor 3. start your laptop with the uphuck 10.4.9 1.4i r3 DVD Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64165-blank-screen/#findComment-609073 Share on other sites
