Hi,

I have installed OSX on my virgin Harddisk. It boots normally and after the dialog of "Starting OSX" with progress bar is finished. The screen trun a bit darker like when you shut down windows XP and a message is displayed "that you need to restart your computer hold down power button for some seconds to restart your computer."

Any idea why i am getting this message.

Regards,

Its a Think Pad t41 with Redeon 7500, P M 1.6 512 MB Ram i am using weaslys patches and it installed quite smoothly no errors but when i run it i get boot loader which shows me options when i try to Run OSX after the welcome screen i get the message to reboot and i get it all the time....

Sorry for getting back so late

You said you are using wesley patch, was this the prepatched iso, if so you need to get a newer copy.

That iso has Maxxuss v1.1b SSE3 emulation patch which for me did not run very well. It was not until Maxxuss released v2.0e was I able to run 8F1111 on my T40 stable.

Here is a link for a PPF patch that has worked great for me. It has Maxxuss SSE3 v4.2b emulation kernel and is very stable. I have had only 1 major system crash and only a few apps have crashed.
