lapointe34 Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 In response to one of my previous posts, (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=52235&st=0&p=372982entry372982) I was attempting to get sound working on my System: 2.8Ghz P4 HT SSE, SSE2 CPU, Asus-P4P800VM ATI X1600 Pro and 1 GB ram. The sound does not work. So I did what was recommended and I shifted from Mac OS X 10.4.6 to Mac OS 10.4.8 JAS and the sound still does not work, I checked off in the installation to install all drivers. Then another user sent a Kext, I'm kinda inexperienced, how do I install the Kext, how would I install the attached kext to the linked post, or would there be a better driver now? And now my INTEL integrated PRO 100/VE Network does not work. Any Ideas? Thanks a lot for all your help!
