Ferpa
I've just installed a ox86 (JaS 10.4.8) here... on a Athlon X2 4200+, Asus M2n-E, Gf 7600gt and an offboard network... Installed TULIP, NATIT and AZALIA to make everything work. The problem is that I always have my CPU usage above 50%... I've already tried to delete the AppleTPMACPI.kext, but I don't have the file... looked allover /SystemLibrary/extensions... and nothing... I've enebled SSE3... nothing... Tried to boot with "platform=X86PC"... same... I don't know what else to do... Plz help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62121-speed-problem/ Share on other sites
Ferpa
I've found 2 more issues: Quartz Extreme doesn't seem to work. and I can't reboot! If I try it only leads me to a black screen... but no reboot at all (I can shut down, but not reboot) If someone know how to solve any of my problems... mainly the speed one... I'd be grateful... The performance of my system still sucks... I'm thinking of going back to gentoo once for all... A pity because I liked OSX so much ...
