Hi all.

I succesfully installed Mac OS X 10.4.8 on my Dell Optiplex GX520 (fighting a bit with network, but with this forum I can solve it)

I made an unpgrade by internet and it installed me the 10.4.10 version.

After the reboot it hangs up and reboot.

Do anybody has the same experience?

Is there anything I can do instead reinstall?

Regards

I don't know if there's a way to solve this without a reinstall, but NEVER use the official updates from Apple just like that... failure guaranteed. Look around for update threads, such as this one, which i used succesfully to update my old system from 10.4.8 to 10.4.9. Otherwise, you can search around the usual places for, say Koolkal's 10.4.10 update, which usually automates the update process, but isn't guaranteed to work [no method is GUARANTEED to work on any specific machine, besides Macs, anyways].

As for your network card, it's a Broadcom 5751 right? Have a search around the forum for that, but from a few post i read it seems like Broadcom 57xx are hardly supported.

Good luck,
