HooKed Posted December 27, 2005 Share Posted December 27, 2005 Ok heres my question I have the Apple Dev Kit which I patched and burned to a DVD it worked great I also burned an UNPATCHED version to DVD just to have incase. Well guess what I lost the patched version and all I have left is the unpatched version on DVD. My question is "Is there anyway to patch the Unpatched DVD?" remember that its not in ISO form. What files would I need? Do I have to make the DVD an iso? (if so the MD5 wont match because of extra data added by nero) Can I just copy the contents of the DVD and edit certain files? and so on. If I can patch it I can host the file on my off shore servers which have dual oc48 lines. After using torrents there has to be a better and faster way of downloading LOL. ccihon Posted December 27, 2005 Share Posted December 27, 2005 Make an iso using ultra iso etc...then patch. Should work fine. You can probably use a ppf and ppf-o-matic to patch, or manually replace files using transmac....if you have a working mac system you can mount the iso and replace files there....whatever Nero may add to burn the DVD would not necessarily be part of the iso.
