mks2000
If my system now works fine, is it safe to delete (or move to another directory) all those kexts that don't appear in the list when doing a kextstat? also, carbon copy cleaner doesnt seem to make a bootable backup of my system volume. Even if I select "make bootable" in the preferences. When trying to boot from the cloned volume, only the blinking underscore appears. What could it be? The cloned HFS volume is active, primary, 1st partition on the drive. I hope someone has an advise and please excuse if it's stupid questions. Couldn't find an answer to the first one really. OriginalMACNUT
I've ran into this also. I could boot, but the install dvd needs to be present and let it count down, This was the only way I could boot?
