MoNeY_MaN
First off i have to admit i am a total newb when it comes to OSX86. Can someone tell me what to do from there. Then i tried Jaz 10.4.8 and the gui looks like its about to work but then it stays froxen with a blue screen and dvd stops reading Both were were booted with the -v option. Grey-Echo
I'd personally make sure the DVDs that you are using are still good, as it sounds like a read error to me. However, if that's not the case, I'd simply boot without the -v option and see how things go. If possible, get more information about the text that shows up for UpHuck, and for JaS, see if there's any improvements without the -v option. boinkytwo
before installing, disable hyper threading feature from your bios settings and then retry to install, see if helps any. if it does not work, execute the -v boot flag, and read from the scrolling text if it mentions about panic, link/load error or fails. post it here if there is any.
