p3t3rZ Posted August 9, 2007 Share Posted August 9, 2007 I am trying to install Mac OS X on the following system: Toshiba Satellite M50 (Notebook) Intel Pentium M 1.86 GHz 512 MB Ram 100 GB FUJITSU Hard Drive DVD+/-RW Drive Intel 915GM/GMS,910GML Express (128 MB) I am using JaS OS X 10.4.8 AMD, Intel, SSE2, SSE3 I can get to the installer but when its loading up i see on the list of messages disk i/o error. When it finally loads to the installer I select english, than Disk Utility. I can get into Disk Utility but it does not read current partitions so i try to repartition it... it works, so i format that partition... disk i/o error ... so when I go to install it, there is no partitions to install it on.
