Subject line says it all really.

 

Am following this guide (or intend to follow this guide)

and step 9 refers to the Vista install disk, which I don't have.

 

Am I right in thinking that all this step is for is to reset the Vista partion as active, and as long as I have a method I can do that with, I'll be fine? (there are plenty of bootable utilities, Linux live CDs, which could be used for this purpose)
