digitalunderground Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 The machine is a Dell Insprion 5100 Laptop (Pentium 4, 2.66 GHz, 640MB DDR2, 30GB drive with 3 PRIMARY partitions with each OS on it). Has anyone ever had a 10.4.6 install that kept rebooting after the Darwin/X86 window? Mine goes through the startup but before it hits the install screen where it's still booting it resets - never advances any further than that. Just keeps rebooting. Triple boot (XP, PCLinuxOS, and Mac 10.4.6) running GRUB and 10.4.6 DVD is known good. Any advise? Thanks in advance for it if you've seen this problem. InsanelyMac rules! digitalunderground Posted August 8, 2007 Author Share Posted August 8, 2007 Re-installed - problem disappeared. Inspiron 5100 is now running JaS 10.4.6 with no audio and wireless, but working that. Must have been an install glitch.
