sumogray
I have an imap account, but store messages offline in mailbox folders to save space. I recently travelled abroad taking my powerbook and used the same system. Is there a way to merge the emails I received while out of the office into my powermac without overwriting the folders that are there? ekeby
I'm confused about this subject too. I recently switched to IMAP, and to Mail from Entourage. I like to funnel email into lots of different folders. I had slightly different folder arrangements on each computer, so I'm not really sure what's happening now. Neither one seems to work exactly the right way. Should I only be putting folders on the server rather than directly into Mail? sumogray
leaving the folders on the server would solve the syncing problem, but i run out of space quite quickly that way i think all i need is to copy the folders from the portable to my desktop, but to merge the data rather than replace... is there a way to do this?
