And my problem is i start the installation with the burned dvd and i do custom install on the HFS+(journaled) and half way or so it says Problem in installation please restart. I did. It said it again. So... what do you think dafx up? Help me out here... PLEASE!!

I also got the almost same reboot message after the Installation fail message. I didn't do any changes other than rewriting the DVD at 1X. Try out disabling your dual core in bios ( aka make it single core ). Also, as u using SATA HDD, can u try using ATA HDD, i think there is some issue with SATA during Install.

good luck, friend!!!

If you have an ATA around... that would be a good idea, buying is no..good. I think some people are working on the installation on SATA... like changing something in the bios for SATA... i can't exactly remember what but... if you search the forum i guess you can find it...

my comp has problems with ata's and i cant make em primary.. so no. but i have a dell laying around with intel prosseor and ata hard drive so im gunna try that.. but ill try searching for sata bios thingi searched forums and didnt find bios change for sata. =(
