I seem to be encountering this exact problem too!

I've installed Uphuck 1.3 AMD on one of the two partitions on my hard drive fine, but whenever I attempt to boot up OS X, the message, "system config file '/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found" always appears. This is incredibly irritating, as I've come this far to use OS X on my PC and suddenly everything is going wrong! I've looked up this problem on the internet and found that there are such ways as using GParted, the Terminal program during install and entering a prompt after booting the DVD. All have seemed to either have a problem during using it or fail me in one way or another. But I don't want to give up like this, so if anyone has the answer, please say and I will be ever so grateful! :)

Thanks,

Nosfriend.

Well, I think the answer is to make the partition active (or bootable). You can use a live CD of a program called GParted to do this, but I've tried and the CD just seems to freeze when it's booting. I found these instructions,

On first restart of your Mac OS X you’d get a b0 error. You’ll need to mark your hard disk partition as active. To fix, boot from the iso again, and at Darwin initial prompt, hit F8. Type “-v -s” and then once a prompt appears, type “fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0“. Type “print” to display a list of partitions on the disk. Find the partition number for the one where you installed Mac OS X and then use the “flag n” command to mark the partition as active (n is the partition number). type “quit” and reboot. Mac OS X should boot off the hard disk as normal now.

But unfortunately that didn't work for me either.

I hope I've helped you and anyone else who is experiencing this same problem, but I really hope there's someone who has a method of getting my OS X to boot for me. ^_^
