Vanishing ice Posted July 21, 2007 Share Posted July 21, 2007 I just installed uphuck v.1.4i. I have a nVidia 7900GS in my system. It seems that the OS can't recignise the model of the display. So, I attached the screen shot to see if some one knows whether the display card works properly? bibendum Posted July 21, 2007 Share Posted July 21, 2007 It's been my experience, playing around with flashed cards, that if CI an QE are supported, you're doing good, but if the mac doesn't have a specific renderer assigned, you might get reduced performance - i.e. less performance than your card could deliver. Or not - depends on how well that card runs on a generic nVidia renderer. Perhaps someone with experience with your exact card will speak up...
