After the OS X 10.4.9 load appears the next message:

 

You need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds or press restard button.

 

I already restart the computer but the same message appears.

do yo know how to fix this.

it happens when you select the mac partition as active, and when you restart you get the restart your computer sign, and it still apears over and over again

 

than try to make your win partition as active and put on acronis os selector as boot loader ....

work for me ...

I solve the problem installing other kernel but it looks like after the gray screen with the apple logo appears the computer get freeze with a blue screen.

My PC :

Intel Pentium D 3.2

2GB Ram

250 HD

Nvidia Geforce 7300gt 512Mb

Mother Board: Intel D945GNT

I've recently run into the problem on my new hackintosh. For my system, the problem was due to my NVidia card. I had to delete NVDAResman.kext before it would finally complete start-up after install.
