AquaMang
I downloaded and burnt "marklar-tiger-patch.iso" assuming it was already patched. I reboot my pc, and when it booted up the cd, It displayed the gray screen with the apple, then it told me to restart (in several different languages) I rebooted, and it did the same. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem and how to fix it? hmm... I forgot to post up system info Proc: Amd Athlon XP 2400+ (ive heard varying info about whether its compatible) Memory: 512mb Im trying to install it on a quantum fireball 20gb drive. richard.xsi
just my two cents on it: i installed 1099 with maxxuss 1.1a dvd patch. Native install: the same problem you have. in vmware using vmware's iso mount: the same result. in vmware using Alcohol mount: same result. and then : vmware+dameon tools iso mount: works, install very quickly, i think that's because all reading and write happen on harddisk, which is much quicker than dvdrom. after finished install in vmware, power off the virtual machine . configure dualboot properly and you can boot your machine in native mode. don't need vmware anymore. so,you know what i'm talking Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5736-installing-restart-problem/#findComment-36281 Share on other sites
