Hi guys,

I want to be able to run OSX on my desktop PC. However, my friend tried it and said it won't work because we have SATA hard drives and OSx86 only currently works with IDE. Is this true?

Secondly, would I have any compatibility issues? Here are my specs:

CPU:E6600

Motherboard: Gigabyte 965P-S3

Graphics Card: 7900GS TurboForce Edition

RAM:2x1GB Corsair 667

Hard Drive: 320GB Seagate SATA II,

Sound Card:Creative X-FI Xtreme Music

Thanks in advance :D

hes got a Core 2 Duo. That means no Nforce4 chipset

Gigabyte 965P-S3 is the mainboard. i`m guesing that means its a intel 965P chipset :D

Damn.. first post.. and I`m member no 413. ;)

Yes that is correct an Intel 965P Chipset :P

Do I have any hope? Or is this OSx86 for older configurations like my 5 year old PC running an 865 chipset, IDE hdd's P4 530 Processor etc :P
