MaidenFan
Apologies to the mods, but I figured I'd better re-post this in the right section. Please feel free to delete my other thread Here's the deal: I currently have OS X (10.4.8 JaS) installed on my desktop, but the mouse is stuck in the top-left corner. I can move the mouse, but only for a fraction of a second before it automatically returns to the top-left. I know, it's a strange one. I've tried a different mouse (a standard Dell optical - I normally use a Logitech MX610 wireless) and the result is the same. I'm wondering if it can be a USB issue, because my USB memory sticks aren't being recognices either. I've also searched these forums for any possible solution and replaced disabled the ApplePS2Trackpad and ApplePS2Mouse kexts. Also, with a PS2 mouse, I get no movement at all. So .... in a word: help! Cheers MF // Edit: My motherboard is an Asus P5RD2-VM. The mouse issue has been happening since install (even on the install DVD), and the USB Legacy option within the BIOS is on Auto.
