Reg@expertreward Posted July 14, 2007 Share Posted July 14, 2007 I know I'm probably a bit behind the times but I havn't installed the MAC oS again for about 6 months and then I only got up to 10.4.6 using the MAxxus Patched DVD to install 10.4.5 and the update to 10.4.6. I've now got a free PC its an HP d530 utra small form factor details below and want to use it as a perment MAC not dual boot like all the others have been. It installs the MAxxus OS and update fine so 10.4.6 works great. But I need 10.4.8 so I tried to use the JAS to first upgarde then do a clean install it just crashes a boot time loads audio and some other drivers but not video and eventually freezes. I checked on wiki and 10.4.8 was installed on a d530 but not sure what type. How do I do and update are there any patches or are there any patches for the JAS 10.4.8 DVD I got some very useful hints from you guys in the past which is why this is the first question I've needed to ask...
