Hi

Is it possible to upgrade a 2,3 dualcore G5 with the cpu from a 2,7 ghz model?

or is there anyway to overclock it a little?

And one more question can i use sata2 harddrives?

and is it possible to have a raid0 as systemdrive?

thanx for your help

Alex

Ps:Also what i have heard the new Ps3 has the same chip but with 3,2ghz so also a upgrade to this cpu would fullfill bei performance dreams...anybody got a clue about this?

Actually shouldnt they have the same pin layout and frontsidebus?

Surely, but you have to compare the fsb / multiplicator. Maybe you have to reconfigure it via null-resistors.

Why not?
