Hello I'm brand new at this, Ive always ran window's and occasionally Ubuntu. Ive been hearing tons of cool stuff about Mac osx. I bought a 320 gig sata drive to install osx 10.4.9 (Uphuck) I burnt the iso to a dvd then tried to boot to disk I received the following message (System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found)

 

My System:

2. Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor

3. CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

4. XFX PVT42EUDE3 Geforce 6800XT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card

5. Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum 7.1 Channels PCI Interface Sound Card

6. Western Digital Raptor WD740ADFD 74GB 10,000 RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA150 Hard Drive

7. Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

8. 2 Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive's

 

9. Antec TruePower 550-Watt Power Supply

 

 

I am installing directly to 1 of the western digital caviar's (Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s)
