I have recently instaled this nice system (MacOSX 10.4.9 Uphuck install dvd 1.3) and there are some problems that i cannot manage to defeat! First of all, my pc : Pentium 4 640 Gigabyte GA8NSLIPro Geforce 7800GT 1 gb ram Creative X-fi mouse keyb on usb my cable modem on usb 3 hdd (one sata with xp, one with data and one 40gb for experiments , currently Vista and OSX) After install i was unable to boot , i was reciving HFS+ partitionm error But my HDD was divided into 2 partitions , one Vista second active primary partition id af for OSX - so why i get this error? I managed to start it with chain0 and vista bootloader , but everytime i chose mac screen show darwina and starts counting if i dont press key it will go back to vista loader. It looks like its pointing to vista for default not mac but it is not a problem My serius problem is after i have the screen with boot options OSX is loading and hungs up after one or two seconds with some strange text , it looks like a kernel panic or something like that I remember the last line is something like : bla bla bla 8 bla bla intel kernel by blabla and some digits (looks like current date) line below is the white thing and its not blinking i cant type or do anything ,only restart helps My question is : Are you good enough to help me with this ? Do you think updating to 10.4.10 will help ? Any one knows what i done wrong? Thanks for any advice! ADAMzPL Posted July 15, 2007 Author Share Posted July 15, 2007 I didint install the update , just reinstalled whole system HFS+ error showed up, used vista loader and chain0 and what i see is a beautiful screen "Please reboot system" So the situation is the same, maybe you know some tricks ? im gona today to reinstall it on other hdd PS. Do you think there is gona be a easier installer when leopard shows up?
