Banangroda
Hey Insane Mac people, I have tried installing OS X by booting the CD etc, but it just sooo slow. To even get to the graphical installer takes, for me, about 2 hours at best. Seriously. I don't know what's wrong. It's an IDE I installed on, maybe it's faster on SATA? Anyways, so I thought it would go faster if I ghosted the hard drive with a pre-installed OS X. And since I can't handle the slow installation times in the normal installation procedure, I installed it in VMWare, which worked brilliantly. Now I want to be able to really use the OS, so now I'm wondering how to go about creating a ghost image from VMWare. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance! Banangroda
Oki doke. If I start now I reckon it'll be finished at about 3 pm. Wish me luck. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56347-ghost-image-from-vmware/#findComment-402623 Share on other sites
