MB :GIGA 945P S3 cpu : P 4 D 3.4 VGA : 7600 GT i used partition magic 8.0 for create a unllocated partition .and with cmd/diskpart/select disk 0/create partition primary id=af created apartition af so i install mac os dvd and after install i actived this partition.But I get this following message: Error missing Operating System, how to fix? melkor_41 Posted July 5, 2007 Share Posted July 5, 2007 i had a similar problem with my dell 1100. I booted of a windows 98se disk and ran fdisk /mbr then deleted the non-dos partition. Then booted up into the osx installer, ran disk utility, did single partition and changed the boot record type to MBR and installed. I had issues after the boot that have been unresolved, but at least that got it booting.
