Ok I downloaded Apple.OS.X.x86.10.4.Generic.Install.DVD from a torrent. After unraring everything I get an ISO image. I create a BSD guest OS in VMWare and configure the VM CD drive to point to the ISO. When I boot and press enter it seems to start. I get an apple logo after about 30 seconds it says that I have to reboot and cycle the power. This appears to be an endless loop, I have tried rebooting 10 times and each time the same thing. I have searched for reboot loop but no luck.

Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Ok I get loading Darwin/x86 followed by an Grey screen with an Apple in the middle and below that a spinning circle which seems like a progress indicator. Then I got a VM notice that I need to configure my CDRom for DMA. After that the got a blue screen and now It says Mac OS X preparing installation! I got past the license dialog, I like the wtf as the text :hysterical: Now Im at a select a destination volume to install Mac OX X and the screen is empty, I have nothing to select. What do I do now?

Thanks again for the help!
