(update directly from apple and backup /mach_kernel ) http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=54678 except Maya 8.5 and 8.5sp1 freeze when starting the program. my computer just freeze and need a restart. any idea ?? bar1 Posted July 17, 2007 Author Share Posted July 17, 2007 Thank's but iknow this one, i have found that after upgreading to 10.4.10 and upgread the kernel again it's now working fine. so maybe it was a kernel that wasn't updated properly. Atmosfear Posted July 30, 2007 Share Posted July 30, 2007 works fine here, using 8.10.1 kernel and mostly 10.4.9 kexts, including the patched IONetworkingFamily.kext from 10.4.9 as posted in the maya licensing problem thread (the one from an "iDisk"). Tested both Maya 8.5 and 8.5sp1 on Abit AW9D-MAX, E6600, 4GB RAM, Ati X1900XT 256MB.
