I can't install 8f1099 or 8f1111 natively because it always hangs on "IOPCCardBridge: start failed" and "VGA: Family specific matching fails". Same errors for both versions. When I try to install through VMWare to the harddrive, it reboots randomly during the install process.

specs:

Compaq 2596us

2.6ghz Celeron Northwood

pae, sse2

I'm using all the latest maxxuss patches. Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I have a HP Ze5730us

2.6Ghz celeron Northwood

pae sse2

exactly same problem for 8f1099

it worked with 10.4.1, I can instll 8f1099 with vmware but it cant reboot natively

and after the:

Waiting for boot device, ....

it showed

IOPCCardBridge: start failed

VGA: Family specific matching fails

maybe have to go back to 10.4.1 again
