Hi!

 

the following problem:

 

1.) After the install 8f1099 with patched DVD, can my System not complete Shutdown, explizit Turn off. With Shutdown comes a blue Screen, then a black Screen with white Letter. The last Words i Saw is "CPU haltet". On Linux comes a Instruction to Turn off. Is the Instruction missing in the Kernel? Sorry for my bad english. (Perhaps helps this Picture... "bild3.jpg")

 

2.) My System boots (with -v) to the Line: "com_apple_driverRTL8139: Ethernet adress 00:13:8f:23:03:0a" and still for ONE!!! Minute, after the Minute comes two Lines (see the "bild2.jpg"), then boots the System complete. I have my Internet Connection (DSL) manually configured.

 

Please help and answere me.

Try to boot with "-v -x -F" parameters, and add "platform=X86PC" if you don't want the system to halt after a kernel panic. If your preoblem is : OSX doesn't halt my machine, it means ACPI isn't enabled, that's not a big problem (try the other "platform" switch).

 

Does "manually configured" mean you don't use DHCP ? What happends if you take your card out of the PCI slot ?

 

PS : try to get higher resolution photos (use Imageshack if the forum strips the resolution), I can't read anything.

ACPI is in the Bios disabled. I has DHCP with self Problem, the i configured my Internet Connection manually.

 

I have not a Kernelpanic....

 

Where i must add "platform=X86PC"?
