Trevor M
Hey guys, Just wondering what's up with my installation of Windows XP. When I plug in an RF or wired mouse the drivers start to install and it usually asks 2 times for 2 different drivers. If I were to say yes to both, I lose the mouse and it doesn't work. If I just hit yes on the first driver and cancel the 2nd driver, the mouse works fine even though Windows says the hardware wasn't installed correctly. Now with my Targus Bluetooth Mouse, it only stays alive if it is 'connected' and if it isn't the red optical LED turns off. This time when I pair it with the stock Microsoft drivers, the mouse is found but I cannot pair it using the '0000' pairing code that I normally always use. If I choose pair without password then it will work and go through close to half a dozen drivers including the one Bluetooth HID and then multiple times (about 5-6) of the HID-Compliant Device. The mouse says it's connected by the LED, and Microsoft bluetooth settings box says it's connected but the mouse doesn't operate/work in Windows XP. If I boot to Mac OS, any mouse just works no problem. What's my problem here? --Trevor-- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48755-mouse-issues-bluetooth-rf-wired/ Share on other sites
