Hello;

I have an Intel Pentium 4 630 CPU and Asus P5LD2-VM Motherboard with Intel GMA 950, Realtek ALC882, Intel PRO and Lexmark 5150 printer.

I installed JaS MacOS X version 10.4.8, during the installation process I selected the GMA950, Azalia and Lexmark for the printer.

The Intel PRO Network Adapter works fine, but other hardware not. There is no sound at all (the system cannot recognize the ALC882), the GMA950 works but without 3D acceleration (Quartz Extreme and Core Image is not enabled by default), the system recognized the printer but I cannot install its drivers.

How can I fix these problems?

I will be thankful if someone can help me.

For your Realtek ALC882, check out the AppleHDA solution here. It shall enable the following: -

- Line Out

- Microphone

- SPDIF out

- Headphones

- Keyboard Volume Control and Mute

- Line In

[P.S. download the ALC882_AppleHDA_v0.4b.mpkg.zip; Find it in the attachments; It'll work perfectly on your motherboard.]

For the Intel GMA950, are you sure you checked the check box for the GMA950 support during installation from the Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2] DVD? It works perfectly with QE/CI.

Thank you very much... :thumbsup_anim: The Audio is now working - the output and the input.

Regarding the GMA950... I checked the right box for 950 not 900... but there is no 3D acceleration at all. However, I can change the resolution, refresh rate and the colors.

Congratulations. To my knowledge the video should be working with both QE/CI on the GMA950 as reported by some other forum members if the correct patch is applied during installation. About your Lexmark printer try searching for Guten Print on Google and then check whether your printer is supported.
