Has anyone tried it on this desktop PC?

Well, if you do get it working, it's going to be very slow, considering the amount of RAM in there. You want at least 256mb or 512. Important thing is, the cpu must support sse2. Use cpu-z to check this. Then, it helps tremendously if the motherboard chipset is compatible.

I have 10.4.6 installed successfully on a S4000NX. There are, naturally, some issues. OS X Cannot find any audio devices (either the integrated audio, or a Soundblaster PCI card I added) and there is only one resolution avaiable under displays. Other than that, though, works well.

 

Anyone have insight about my sound card issues?
