The right 10.4.9 update?

Basically I'm new here.. and there are so many different patches and random kernels that even after reading everything i could find I still feel like a newbie..

 

What I did:

Jas 10.4.8 with ppf1 and ppf2 on a stock Portable one UX

Then did the koolkal update to 10.4.9

 

everything works but wireless (3945 chipset still being worked on) and sleep/speedstep. oh and my built in camera (anybody have any ideas)

 

So I hear there are other kernel upgrades.. like Jas and one from Semthex..

 

What are those.. which one is best.. can i still switch my kernel ?

 

what's in my koolkal kernel vs the other ones ?
