tomey
When I try to install Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2] I get an error: "System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found" Somebody has told me that it's because I do not have SATA hard drive and I should install any patch. Can anybody tell me where can I get this patch? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48402-comapplebootplist-not-found-error/ Share on other sites
jonl
tomey, I've encountered this problem in my initial install. It took me about an hour to figure it out, but it ended up that when I went into the installation's partition manager (Utilities -> Disk Utility), the default installation was setting up TWO partitions as opposed to ONE unified partition. Try selecting the drop-down box to move away from current configuration and select one single partition across the disk. Name it whatever you'd like, apply it and then complete the install as normal. If all goes well, you should be able to boot into Mac OS X, providing you don't have other driver/hardware errors later on.
