Roflcopterrr
I want to dual boot, and I DID, until about 3 days into using OSX. Windows suddenly wouldn't boot, so I just reinstalled OSX on the entire drive that I used to dual-boot from. Now, I want to use Windows again! How do I add a partition in Mac OSX86? Cyman
You cannot partition the hard disk from within OS X without formatting it completely. You either have to install a second hard disk to boot from and then partition the OS X disk or you have to use a bootable CD/DVD with a partitioning program, which also lets you partition the OS X disk without having to format everything. Cyman
Yes, for example. Or you go with a bootable partitioning program for Mac. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48199-how-to-add-another-partition-while-on-osx/#findComment-345810 Share on other sites
