SA22C
Weird. Does the drive show up in the BIOS as the correct size? How about Windows? As for the IDE drive, those can be problematic with the GA965 series from Gigabyte. Have you installed the Gigabyte driver set? sherilyn
i fix this problem...... if you have 965 series chipset, just go to bios and plug your drives into the ich8 ports (orange) set your bios enter intergrated peripherals switch raid/achi mode to "AHCI" enable all the next choices until legacy usb support. enable onboard sata switch sata/ide control to "IDE" now i can see my full HD, but don't see ide HD (( most likely this is my 10.4.7 ....now i downloading 10.4.8...soon i install it and tell you, will it wirk or not )) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47954-not-full-hd/#findComment-343977 Share on other sites
pandnaka
Dude today I discover a HD problem showing the wrong side too, I have 160gig and it show 128gig, and that the first time it did to me, I was trying to use the newly Downloads Tubgirl AMD 10.4.8 image I finish download last night. The funny part is that it show the wrong if I were plug the drive to the IDE connection, and if I were to plug to my SATA conection using the IDE to SATA conection it show the right size of my drive. Anyway I think My Abit AT8X board is bad anyway, Beacuse I can not install Microsoft Windows on it XP or Vista, it just give me BSOD, or froze during installation, But I install OSX it run fine!!!! It been running for over 3 day now with out no problem!!!! Oh! forgot I use JAS OSX install disc I have never inconter Hard drive problem, like wrong size or anything at all!!! So far!
