Superhero360
Hello everybody, I managed to boot from the "JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Defiant.diskutil.biker880.ich -R.patch.Integrated.iso" -Installer DVD and installed Mac OSX onto my USB Harddrive. Then when I rebooted I managed to boot from that USB drive but I get a kernel panic I tried different install options (with add ons and without it) and ended up just installing the Intel patch leaving the other options aside. Now I booted in -V Verbose mode to see what hangs the system, here is the result: I don't really know what causes the problem, can somebody look at the screenshot and tell me what causes my kernel panic so that I could try to remove that specific extension? I'd would be so nice of you to help me Here are my system specs: Packard Bell iPower 9099 - Mainboard Asus PB Vegas S2, nVidia nforce570 Chipset, (1 x PCI-E 16x, 3 x PCI Express, 2 x PCI), - Realtek 6 Channel HD Audio - Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Q6600, 2,40 GHz, 2 x 4MB Cache, 1.066 MHz FSB - 2.048 MB DDR RAM (2 x 1.024MB) Devices: - 1.000 GB Serial-ATA-HD (Seagate Baracuda) (2 x 500GB), RAID 0 Controller - LaCie 320GB USB HD - 16x/48x DVD-ROM - 16x Philips Multinorm-DVD-Burner with Double-Layer - 8in1 Multi-Card-Reader - nVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GTS PCI-Express Graficcard, 640MB - FireWire IEEE1394 - 10/100 MBit LAN - 6 x USB 2.0 EDIT: I got it to boot now I removed all GeForce Extensions under System/extensions.
