When i start it the screen is black... help!

Hi there. I justi installed OSX on my IBM Thinkpad X31, all works fine, I'm not interested in dual boot so I erased everything and made my partitions with Disk Utility. The problem is that I've rebooted at the end of installation and now when the computer starts I can see the apple logo and the circle loading but when it finishes the screen became black and nothing happened.

Hi Mate

 

I have the same problem as you have. Everything installed ok but when I booted up first time I got the same problem as you. Up to Apple screen OK but then black screen and HD light on all the time.

 

I tried to boot in safe mode (-x) but to no avail and if I give it the (-v) parameter to see what happens all loads succesfully. The last thing that loads is the DNS lookup something.
