Stevecask Posted April 7, 2007 Share Posted April 7, 2007 All i get upon boot is a black screen with a blinking underscore(cursor) thats all i get, i cant get to darwin bootloader, nothing like that the partition IS primary and is AF the installer detected it fine just wondering if this had to do with my SATA drive or my processor chipset: nforce430 Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Socket: AM2) Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM 160 GB SATA this IS a dual boot system any help i can get is much appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47694-huge-error/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Stevecask Posted April 8, 2007 Author Share Posted April 8, 2007 thats a no.... its a SATA DVD drive, so i think thats the issue there..., always stops at "still waiting for root device" i can get OSX to boot via VMWare now, but only via VMware and the Virtual CD, so thats no good, i just need it to load natively...
