wanamino Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 Well, this is not exactly a windows problem, but i think that maybe in this forum someone can help me, so my problem is: I have a laptop with a dumb bios, (there are no upgraded one) that only can boot from, the ide hdd, a usb attached floppy, the network, or the dvd unit. I want to boot from a external drive as usb memory or usb hdd, can i do that? how? I think that maybe with a bootloader installed in the hdd, the floppy or the dvd.
