im using the JaS AMD/Intel SSE2/SSE3 install DVD.

my comp is custom made, here are the parts...

mobo - ABIT KN8 Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4

Processor - AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 2.4GHz

Memory - 1 GB Corsair PC3200 DDR dual channel, and a 128 stick and a 256 stick.

Video Card - Powercolor x800GTO

i installed OSX successfully onto a 40GB Maxtor ATA HDD, which has nothing but OSX on it. it is set to primary, it is the right format, and it is not partitioned.

when i installed, i did choose custom and the (i'm 95% sure) right parts to install.

When it prompted me to restart, the machine hung on the MACH Reboot line. that may have been one issue, as i shut down my computer while it stuck at that line.

Then when i start my computer again, and run OSX, everything seems to be working fine, but then it freezes at the same line every time.

it says something like "Darwin 8.8.1 (some date/time here) (file path with the nebekanezer thing in it)

i will reboot and get the exact line.

edit: i have the exact line now.

"Kernel version fails

Darwin Kernel Version 8.8.1:Sat Dec 9 22:18:27 AZOT 2006;semthex:/nebukadnezar/BUILD/obj/RELEASEI386"

any help here would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance. ^_^
