moicez
hey im getting the same freaking error. what i can do to boot right now is booting with the DVD installer and then waiting 8 sec. Ill continue doing research on this. Oh i should add that this only happens because i have a partition with XP and did a clean copy of OSX(deleted the old partition and reinstalled). System Dell M140 Intel M 1.86Mhz (SSE2) OS X 10.4.1 512Mb Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/46722-error-loading-os/#findComment-337603 Share on other sites
The Baron
hey im getting the same freaking error. what i can do to boot right now is booting with the DVD installer and then waiting 8 sec.Ill continue doing research on this. You need to set your os x partition active, there are a few guides on here. Use osx86 dvd then boot, after a welcome screen Click 'Utility" menu then choose terminal, Type: mount -a fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 print [find partition number that contains macosx partition] f 2 [2 = if your osx partition number is 2] quit reboot You may also need to fix your MBR, you can use Ultimate Boot CD to do this.
