windin Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 Hi there Basically my on board RTL8100B Ethernet is working but on every other boot I get the error message that the AppleRTL8139Ethernet.kext cant be loaded and it shows up as cable not plugged in to fix it all I have to do is delete the Extensions.kextcache and Extensions.mkext and reboot on which it starts perfectly after i shut down and restart however its back to square one its not critical but its bloody annoying to have to restart the machine twice every time i want to use the internet any ideas?
