I am using a Toshiba Satellite A35 with windows XP. I used DiskPart to create a "af" format partition then typed active to make it active. After that, I used

C:\tiger-x86>dd if=tiger-x86-flat.img of=\\?\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2 bs=32256 skip=1 --progress

to put tiger x86 img to an external hard drive. I used this because the installation guide said if you were going to use windows boot loader to do that. I was able to use Ubuntu Live CD to copy Chain0 to a thumb drive and copy it to the root, then added

C:\chain0="Mac OS x86"

to the boot.ini. When I restart, I select Mac OS x86 and get the "Chain Booting Error."

Has anyone seen this problem and know ho to fix it? Please help!
