borisbadenov Posted November 21, 2005 Share Posted November 21, 2005 I wanted to see if my cpu had proper NX extentions so I followed Maxxuss's lead here and typed in "sysctl -a machdep.cpu" and, GASP, it didn't help, none of the codes he listed were there but I went to check out the specs of my cpu from my manufacturer and, low and behold, my Celeron does offer NX support, however, once I found out that my Celeron does support NX, I also had to change my BIOS settings; very important. I did not do this the first time and 10.4.3 would not boot right.
