SA22C
http://www.macvidia.com/index.php?option=c...mp;topic=1082.0 Some very enterprising individuals on MacVidia have figured out the correct video BIOS settings for nVidia 512 MB cards in order to get the Darwin bootloader and OSX to properly recognize memory above 256 MB. Flashing your video BIOS can be very risky and could result in a dead card with no way to reflash, so read and enjoy at your own risk. For my own part, I decided to risk it and now I've got OSX working with QE/CI on my 7900 GTO with no artifacts or problems that I could find thus far. After my BIOS was reflashed, I simply installed the JAS OSX disk and selected the Natit package on install. The result was a problem-free video implementation with full acceleration! Additionally, I'm dual-booting into Vista and the reflash caused no noticeable problems there either. Now all I've got to do is get my on-board sound to work right! :censored2: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45981-potential-but-very-risky-solution-for-nvidia-512-mb/ Share on other sites
