SystemJolt123
My Mac keeps crashing when I use Fast DVD copy and Handbrake. I read an article about bad RAM and saw this! Any ideas? Also I just bought 2 more gigs of RAM from MacMall.com and I am curious as to the configuration in which I should install them. I was told that you have to mirror the two risers, DIMM for DIMM. Although the factory settings are Two 512mb in DIMMs 1&2 on the same Riser? Anyway this is the error I am getting and my computer is a freaking week old? Any help would be great. Little more about computer. I just bought two 500gb hd's configured to RAID0 put in a new ATI X1900 Pro Card and as of today after I work this RAM Problem out am installing two Raptor 74gb hd's for my main drive. And the two more gigs of RAM. Could all this tweaking so fast screw anything up? My ultimate goal is to have a sort of networked media center throughout my house, via apple TV when it launches, to interact with my MacBook Pro, and the three home theater systems. To kind of eliminate the need to move disks, flash drives, etc. with media on them. And if anyone has any cool ideas on making that work. I am open to suggestions.
