Hey, I'm a new user here and already own three Macs and plan on purchasing a Intel PowerBook whenever they arrive.

But, I also have a Sony Vaio laptop which supports SSE2, and that being extremely portable, I wanted to install Mac OS X86 on it compared to its current crappy OS.

I have absolutely no experience with linux or its distros etc. but I was looking for an easy way to install OS X86 on its partiton. I only have one 60 GB HDD and have split it 20-40 with the latter for OS X.

I have a bootable OS X 86 disk and installed it on my second partiton by formatting it as HFS+ volume, but then when restarting it couldn't boot off OS X and my Windows partition wasn't recognised.

Could somebody please help me as to the best release of OS X86 which would allow me to multi boot from a single HDD along with the instructions.

Thanks.
