Does macpro create a lot of noise 2.)Can i run windows on intel xeon with bootcamp 3.)Does any graphic card on macrpo have s-video input 4.) helly Posted March 22, 2007 Share Posted March 22, 2007 Hi MSIX, 1. My Mac Pro is almost (note almost) silent... It is one of the quietest units I've ever used! 2. You can certainly run XP on the Mac Pro, I HAD it installed with Bootcamp and it was almost ridiculously far too easy... 3. I don't think any Graphic Cards that come wth the Mac Pro from factory have S-video connections, but surely there will be after market units soon if not already that do. I got around this by using my mini-dv camcorder, which has an s-video input/output and just run it as a coverter via its firewire connection. I used to do the same on my PC too (works fine). 4. Not unless you are handy with an angle ginder none of the iMacs have s-video as far as I am aware. Cheers...
