royalistic Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 Hello, I finally managed to install the Jas 10.4.8 DVD on my ZEPTO Znote 6214W Laptop. My Hardware: Intel 945PM / ICH7-M Chipset Intel Core Duo T2400 1,8Ghz Nvidia Geforce Go 7600/512MB Intel ProSet Wireless 3945 ABG Intel Onboard HD Soundcard (I think its Realtek ALC861) Intel Onboard LAN 100/1000 Megabit network I installed Mac OS X with only the Intel Patches and the ICH7-M Patch and didn't install for example Nvidia Drivers. Now my OS X is booting but I don't have any sound, my Desktop Resolution is 1024x768 (I have an WXGA 1280x768 Display), my Wireless doesn' work (so I just bougt an D-Link DWL-G122 Wireless USB Adapter which works) and finally my Graphic Card doesn't work. My Onboard 100/1000 Network Adapter although doesn't work but I don't use it, so it doesn't matter. I searched this Forum and found some interesting threats about people getting their Geforce Go 7600 512MB working ( http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=40377 ) but they are all talking about kext and stuff like that. Because I'm totally a noob I'm searching for someone who can give me a step by step instruction to get this card working with my full Display Resolution (1280x768). Furthermore I'm searching for step by step instructions for my sound card. I found something around here to get this card working, but there you need windows to look up for something, but I've only installed Mac OS X and don't want to instal windows, look for something and then install Mac OS x again.
